Am 18. September wurde der iranisch-deutsche Publizist und Autor Bahman Nirumand 75 Jahre alt. Aus diesem Anlass erschien seine Autobiografie «Weit entfernt von dem Ort, an dem ich sein müsste».

Im Gespräch mit dem Autor und Jubilar Bahman Nirumand erzählten Barbara Unmüßig (Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung), der Schriftsteller Peter Schneider und Frank Strickstrock (Rowohlt Verlag) von einem außergewöhnlichen Leben zwischen Orient und Okzident.
