| Description |
English: Deserted A1033 Hedon Bypass, south of Hedon, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The photograph was taken late on a Thursday afternoon. Normally, this road would have been very busy with commuter traffic and the taking of this photograph would have been virtually impossible (or suicidal!). On this occasion, the road was flooded further eastwards with the unprecedented exceptionally heavy late June 2007 rainfall and the rush hour traffic had had to be diverted elsewhere. Thanks go to the unidentified person who inadvertently added to the photograph's composition! |
