Description
Deutsch: Der Felsen mit Zitadelle von Van (Türkei).Die flachen Dächer der Häuser schmiegen sich bis an den Felsen. Die Stadt Van wurde 1915 von den Türken (osman. Truppen) in Brand gesteckt, als sie den Rückzug vor der russischen Armee antraten. Die Russen unterstützten die armenischen Revolutionäre und blieben bis 1917 in Van.
