Description
English: "Dennis, the straw dragon", a 60 ft long straw sculpture built in a field at Hubberts Bridge, near Boston, Lincolnshire, England, UK. – The dragon was built using forklift trucks and straw bales by Lincolnshire farmers Paul Grant, David Sharpe and their family. The Grants have been named the regional winner (Lincolnshire and Yorkshire) of the Weetabix Wheat Art competition 2010 (£2,000 prize raised for Macmillan Cancer Support), cf. [1], [2], [3]. The year before the family built "Manny the Mammoth", which was awarded overall winner for 2009.
