Deutsch: König-Ludwig-II.-Denkmalbrunnen (1984) von Claus Nageler (1943–2017), Starnberg, Bahnhofsplatz 2. Das Relief an der Rückseite des Brunnenpfeilers zeigt eine königliche Kutschfahrt zum Schloss Neuschwanstein, entlang den Stationen des König-Ludwig-Wanderwegs (laut Dietmar Schulze). An der Rückseite ist die Künstlersignatur angebracht, die auch den Stifter Siegfried Hirt erwähnt:
Anmerkung: Mir fehlt das Verständnis für das Gerümpel-Ambiente, das den Brunnen umgibt. Wozu erst (mehr oder weniger) viel Geld für einen Denkmalbrunnen ausgeben, wenn man ihn dann mit derlei Zeug so sehr umzingelt, dass er überhaupt nicht mehr zur Wirkung kommen kann? Bitte, liebe Starnberger(m/w/d), wollt Ihr nicht den Platz um den Brunnen einmal aufräumen? Wollt Ihr nicht den „Kini“ befreien und ihm die Luft zum Atmen geben, die er zu Lebzeiten in den Bergen suchte und die auch heute sein Denkmal braucht?
