Description

Deze Leyland samen met de 7640 in 1967 in dienst in de vestiging Ridderkerk van de toenmalige Twee Provinciën.

Na samenvoeging van de Twee Provinciën met Westnederland werd de 7639 in 1976 in het streekgeel gespoten en reed, samen met de 7640, lange tijd vanuit de Westnederland-vestiging Loosduinen.

Een bus met het typische Leylandgeluid, een lieveling van de Leyland-fans. De 7639 is door de gemeente Den Haag aangewezen als roerend monument.
