Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Peter Griffith is a carbon cycle scientist at Goddard. He studies carbon dioxide and methane that come out of thawing Arctic permafrost and the big effect they have on Earth’s climate. Peter sees Earth all the way from NASA’s research planes to underground, where thawing permafrost is revealing dead plants and animals that have been frozen for thousands of years – like this mammoth leg bone.
