Description
Amir Timur receives an ambassador sitting on his throne. throne. Although he is not Khan he holds a spear, an attribute of his veritable power. The other two figures appear to be vassals rather than servants. One of them holds a chāmara whose presence in the miniatures recalls the pre-eminence of the sovereign's Dharma.
