Description
English: U.S. Navy Lt. Rick Krystof watches an F-14A Tomcat hurtle down the catapult of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) on Jan. 29, 1998. The Nimitz battle group is operating in the Persian Gulf in support of Operation Southern Watch which is the U.S. and coalition enforcement of the no-fly-zone over Southern Iraq. Krystof is from Westford, Mass.
