English: Honorable Mention News 'The Mourning After' by Tech. Sgt. John K. McDowell, U.S. Air Force. John and Linda Hanley and John Cunningham's grand opening for their beach front restaurant in St. Thomas proved to be a smash--literally. The opening was scheduled the same day Hurricane Marilyn decimated the island. The 110 mph winds died down and the next morning the partners ventured outside to examine the devastation Marilyn had left behind. Their restaurant became a dock for a few of the beached yachts mangled by the storm. |
