English: U.S. Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Willie Moore lets the slack out of an arresting gear cable aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) while the ship is underway in the Gulf of Oman on Feb. 14, 2009. The ship and embarked Carrier Air Wing 8 are operating in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
