The 4th Iraqi National Guard Division with its headquarters in Tikrit, Iraq, is being activated into the new Iraqi Army on one of its training bases, collocated with the U.S. Army's 1st Infantry Division. One of the first missions of the new Iraqi Division will be to gradually assume the security of the city of Tikrit. |
