Description
English: Image from Rabanus Maurus' De laudibus sanctae crucis (translated as In Praise of the Holy Cross). Originally composed around the year 810, this is from a copy offered to the abbey of Saint-Denis in France 845–847, and now in the Bibliothèque nationale de France.
