Nederlands: Collectie Voorhelm Schneevoogt Inventarisnummer NL-HlmNHA_1477_53010129 Beschrijving De godin Proserpina. Een beeld van Proserpina, de vrouw van de god Pluto, in een nis geplaatst. Proserpina werd tijdens het bloemen plukken door Pluto naar de Hades ontvoert. Op verzoek van haar moeder de godin Ceres mocht ze elke lente voor drie maanden terugkeren naar de wereld. In deze serie fungeert zij als tegenhanger van Pluto. Met een Latijns onderschrift. Achtste prent uit een genummerde, twintigdelige prentenserie met goden uit de klassieke oudheid. Gravure door Nicolaes Braeu naar ontwerptekening van Karel van Mander, met Latijns onderschrift toegeschreven aan Cornelius Schonaeus; rechtsonder genummerd '8', in handschrift '67' én 'No 268'.
