Aan de muur hangen pijl en bogen en de appelen der Hesperiden. Deze symbolen verwijzen naar de twaalf werken van Hercules. Achter hem is een Stymphalische vogel te zien. Eveneens een verwijzing naar Hercules heldendaden. Onder de voorstelling een Latijns vers. Elfde prent uit een genummerde, twintigdelige prentenserie met goden uit de klassieke oudheid. Gravure door Nicolaes Braeu naar ontwerptekening van Karel van Mander, met Latijns onderschrift toegeschreven aan Cornelius Schonaeus; rechtsonder genummerd '11', in handschrift '67' én 'No 268'.
