  • In acht handgekleurde litho's, met daaronder 24 regels in dichtvorm, wordt het goede leven van de landman bezongen, in navolging van het gedicht 'Akker-leven' van H.C. Poot uit 1720. Achtereenvolgens worden afgebeeld: De zaaijer; Op stal; Het melken; Het karnen; Het kaasmaken; De maaijer; De winter; De veemarkt.
