Description
English: Hatchling of Daphnia magna from a sexual egg (=ephippium). Sexual eggs are resting eggs, which can outlive harsh conditions, such as freezing and drying of the water body. Hatchlings from resting eggs are characterized by many small fat droplets (visible as an orange mass).
