Description
English: Danau Sentarum terletak di area Taman Nasional Danau Sentarum, Dusun tekenang, Kalimantan Barat. Kondis Danau saat saya mengunjungi pada musim kemarau Agustus 2019 sangat kering, hanya menyisakan beberapa titik air, menurut bang atep (Kepala resort tekenang) pada musim hujan air danau akan naik sekitar ketinggian 6 meter dimana danau berfungsi sebagai tadah air hujan untuk menstabilkan ketinggian sungai kapuas, sedangkan pada musim kemarau air danau akan mengalir menuju hilir melewati sungai Tawang (Sebelah kiri pada foto) sampai ke sungai Kapuas untuk mengisis kekurangan debit air sungai yang bermanfaat untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari masyarakat sekitar sungai. Pada foto ini di ambil di dalam wilayah danau sentarum yang sudah kering, saait itu kami sedang melakukan penelitian menuju hutan kerinung, dimana akses menggunakan perahu sampai tengah-tengah danau karena masih ada aliran air yang bisa dilalui perahu, dan dilanjutkan berjalan kaki. Kalau pada musim hujan menuju hutan kerinung bisa menggunakan perahu. Sedikit penambahan desrikrpsi dari saya terkait foto yang satunya, di foto 1 ada penambahan pengambila foto dari bukit Tekenang
