We'd love to hear from you if you use our photos.

From a series of photographs of 'Dacey Garden Suburb' (Daceyville) - a development by the Housing Board of NSW as Sydney's "first planned modern garden suburb". Daceyville was developed between 1913 and 1918 and is located in south-eastern Sydney within the municipalities of Mascot and Botany.

The images in the series show scenes of the area before development, road building, the types of houses built, shops, as well as the Public School. The suburb was named after the state parliamentarian John Rowland Dacey who played a vital role in the approval of this urban development.
