Description
English: A copper alloy double loop buckle dating to the Tudor period, c. 1500 to 1600.

The buckle has two loops with one curved to form a D-shape with the central bar and the other loop angular to form a trapezoidal shape. The front of the object has faceted sides while the reverse is flat. The central bar is slightly recessed with the pin still in place. There is an area of moulded detailing which forms the pin rest.
