DUR-23A803 shoe buckle
Description
English: A copper alloy shoe buckle dating to the period c. AD 1600 1700.

The buckle is square in plan with two loops. The frame is curved suggesting use as a shoe buckle. The pin is complete and still in place.

This buckle is a Marshall (1986: 15 -16) type IIIA.
