Deutsch: Abstandshalter eines 8-fachen Bündelleiters als Teil für eine 1-MV-Drehstromleitung. Die erste Hochspannungsleitung für Drehstrom mit 1 MV ist seit 1999 in Japan in Betrieb. Konstrukteur: The Tokyo Electric Power Company, TEPCO, Japan, 1999.
English: Spacer used in an 8-wire bundle conductor as part of a 1 MV high voltage power transmission line. In order to reduce corona losses at this high voltage, each conductor on the line is made of 8 wires arranged in a cylindrical bundle. This reduces the voltage gradient at the wires.
