Deutsch: „Auf blau und gold (gelb) gerauteten Schild ein schwarzer, silbern (weiß) bewehrter und rotgezungter steigender Löwe.“ Das Recht zur Führung eines eigenen Wappens wurde dem Amt Beelen mit Urkunde des Oberpräsidenten der Provinz Westfalen vom 02.03.1939 verliehen, das Amtswappen wurde von der Gemeinde ohne Neuverleihung in Rechtsnachfolge am 01.01.1975 übernommen. Das Wappen basiert auf dem Wappen der Familie von Baack, die von Mitte des 14. Jahrhunderts bis Anfang des 17. Jahrhunderts Besitzer des adligen Hauses Grevinghof und Holzrichter der Beelener Mark war. Der Löwe ist dem Wappen der Herren von Oesede entnommen.
English: „Fusilly Or and azure, a crowned and armed Argent, langued gules lion rampant sable.“ The arms were granted on March 2, 1939 to the former Amt Beelen and continued by the municipality. The arms are a combination of the arms of the Von Baack family (fussily shield) and the arms of the Lords of Oesede (lion).
