Deutsch: Die Gemeinde Zusamaltheim besteht aus den ehemals selbstständigen Gemeinden Sontheim und Zusamaltheim. Das Gebiet der heutigen Gemeinde Zusamaltheim gehörte zur Herrschaft Bocksberg. 1504 verkaufte Gilg Rieter von Bocksberg seine Hälfte der Herrschaft Bocksberg, die er seit 1489 durch Erbteilung innehatte, an das Domkapitel Augsburg. Das Domkapitel war bereits vor 1282 in Zöschingen begütert. Es richtete im Ort ein Obervogtamt ein und hatte schließlich durch weitere Erwerbungen die Ortsherrschaft bis zur Säkularisation inne. Daran erinnern die Farben Rot und Silber. Die Melusine stammt aus dem Wappen der Familie von Bocksberg. |
