Object history
Deutsch: Das am 27. Juli 1967 zuletzt genehmigte Wappen ist abgeleitet von einem Siegel aus dem Jahre 1930, welches den Lindwurm ohne Schild zeigte. Die Archivdirektion Stuttgart schlug 1935 den schwarzen Lindwurm im goldenen Schild als Wappenmotiv vor. Er steht somit auch redend für den Ortsnamen. Da das Wappen nach Inkrafttreten der Deutschen Gemeindeordnung von 1935 angenommen worden war, bedurfte es noch einer erneuten amtlichen Verleihung.
