Deutsch: Das von Josef Decku aus Unkel entworfene Wappen wurde am 30. März 1967 durch das Ministerium des Inneren verliehen. Das Ankerkreuz entstammt dem Wappen der Herrschaft Neuerburg, die silber-blauen Balken entstammen dem Luxemburger Wappen und die Schlange mit dem Wolfshaken entstammt den aus Lambersberg stammenden und von 1606 - 1622 in Waxweiler tätig gewesenen Wappen des Pfarrers Culnerus Daniel. |
