Object history | Der Adler und die Feldfarbe Blau erinnern an die Grafen von Andechs-Meranien, die bis zu ihrem Aussterben 1248 die Herrschaftsrechte in Wattendorf ausübten. Die Grafen von Truhendingen erhielten den Ort im Zuge der Erbfolge 1260. Sie schenkten ihn 1274 dem Zisterzienserkloster Langheim. Bis zur Säkularisation 1803 stand der Ort unter der klösterlichen Herrschaft. Daran erinnern der Kelch und Abstab aus dem Klosterwappen. | ||||
