Deutsch: Das von Otto Hupp entworfene und 1925 verliehene Wappen zeigt den heiligen Rupert, Schutzpatron der Gemeinde. Die Salzkufe erinnert an den früheren Salzbergbau im Gemeindegebiet. Die Farben entstammen dem Reichsstiftswappen der Fürstpropstei Berchtesgaden.
