Object history
Deutsch: Die Gemeinde Rohr besteht seit 1978 aus den ehemals selbstständigen Gemeinden Prünst, Gustenfelden, Regelsbach und Rohr. Die Vierung von Rot und Schwarz ist dem Wappen des Ortsadels, der Herren von Ror, entnommen, die seit 1285 nachweisbar sind. Ein ähnliches Wappen führten die Herren von Prünst, die nach 1506 nicht mehr erwähnt werden. Die Ähnlichkeit der Wappen ist vermutlich ein Hinweis auf die Verwandtschaft dieser beiden Familien. Der Rohrkolben steht redend für den Ortsnamen und stellt zugleich die Lage der Gemeinde im Schilf der Schwabach dar. Die Farben Silber und Schwarz erinnern an die Herrschaft der Markgrafen von Brandenburg-Ansbach im Gemeindegebiet.
