Deutsch: Das am 7. August 1969 vom Präsidenten des Niedersächsischen Verwaltungsbezirks Oldenburg genehmigte Wappen entstammt dem am 10. Dezember 1936 vom Reichsstatthalter von Oldenburg und Bremen verliehenen Wappensiegel. Löwe und Balken entstammen dem Wappen der hiesigen Adelsfamilie Steding. Der Dreiberg steht redend für den Ortsnamensteil -bergen.
