Object history Der Bischoffstab weist auf das Hochstift Eichstätt hin, den einstigen Grundherrn. Der Rechen stammt aus den Wappen der Herren von Rechenberg und steht redend für den Familiennamen. Die Familie war in Mitteleschenbach begütert und stiftete 1399 die dortige Walburgiskapelle.
