Object history
Deutsch: Aus der Zeit vor 1930 ist von einem Wappen nichts bekannt. Später führte Mahlstetten in den Gemeindestempeln ein unterhalbes Mühlrad, darauf den Großbuchstaben M. Im Jahr 1967 wurde das Gemeindewappen geschaffen, in das dieses Symbol übernommen wurde. Der blaue Ring in Gold entspricht in umgekehrten Farben dem Wappen der Freiherren von Enzberg, denen der Ort seit 1409, mit einer Unterbrechung von 1659 bis 1701, bis zum Anfall an Württemberg 1805 gehörte. Das halbe Mühlrad kann als Hinweis auf die Lippachmühle angesehen werden. Das Recht zur Führung des Wappens und der dazugehörigen Flagge wurde am 26. Oktober 1967 vom Innenministerium verliehen.
