Object history
Deutsch: Krähenberg gehörte bis 1589 den Herren von Sickingen, deren Wappen, die fünf silbernen Bollen in Schwarz, im vierten Feld steht, danach den Herzögen von Pfalz-Zweibrücken, deren Wappen, der goldene Löwe, im ersten Feld erscheint. Die geschichtliche Vergangenheit des Ortes wird verbunden mit der vorwiegend landwirtschaltlichen Struktur, dargestellt durch die Ähre, und dem heraus ragenden Ereignis, durch das der Ort auf der Sickinger Höhe weltberühmt wurde: den Niedergang einen Meteoriten am 5. Mai 1869 in Krähenberger Gemarkung.
