Deutsch: Der Gemeinde Kohlscheid wurde 1936 durch den Oberpräsidenten des Rheinlandes in Koblenz ein Wappen verliehen. Es zeigt drei Hämmer als Symbole des Bergbaus. Der schwarze Balken ist abgeleitet vom Wappen der Herren von Broich, welche früher großen Einfluss in der Gegend hatten.
English: The arms were granted in 1936. The arms show three hammers as symbols of coalmining. The fess sable are derived from the arms of the lords von Broich. |
