Deutsch: Das rote Kreuz entstammt dem Wappen von Kurtrier, dem ehemaligen Landesherren. Das Schwert erinnert an St. Martin, den Patron der Pfarrkirche. Der Keil verweist redend auf den Ortsnamen und die Lilie erinnert an die Abtei Tholey, die Kollator der Pfarrkirche war.
