Deutsch: Wappen von Engelskirchen;
Das Genehmigung zum Führen dieses Wappen wurde der Gemeinde Engelskirchen am 18.6.1976 erteilt.
Das neue Wappen von Engelskirchen zeigt im oberen Teil den wachsenden, roten zwiegeschwänzten Löwen, blau bewehrt, mit blauer Zunge und blauer Krone auf silbernem Grund, darunter Rot und Silber in drei Reihen geschacht

Die kommunale Neugliederung von 1974 führte zum Zusammenschluss von Engelskirchen und Ründeroth. Unter Verzicht auf lokale Sinnbilder wurden die geminderten Wappenbilder der jeweiligen historischen Landesherren, der bergische Löwe und das märkische Schach, aus den alten Gemeindewappen zusammengefügt, um das Zusammenwachsen zweier Gemeinden mit verschieden historischen Traditionen zu veranschaulichen.

The arms were granted on March 24, 1976.
The arms show in the upper part the lion of the Counts of Berg and in the lower the chequered bar of the arms of the Counts of the Mark. Historically the municipality was part of both counties.
