[edit]DescriptionDEU Borbeck COA.svg |
English: „Party per pale twice, ahead and rear party per fess Or, ahead, above two fesses gules, below two pales gules and rear, above two pales gules, below two fesses gules; in the more broadly middle gules, interweaved upon two crossed swords Argent with handles Or a laurel wreath vert.“
The arms were drawn by Kurt Schweder who designed coats of arms for all districts of Essen in die 1980s; they were never official used, but meanwhile recognized by the citizens of Essen and its districts. The arms are derived from arms of the last abbess from the Lords of Fürstenberg File:Fürstenberg-Grafschaft.png and the arms from the Essen Abbey File:Wappen Stift Essen.svg. |
