Description
English: Jacksonville, Fla., Aug. 16, 2002 — The flag of Secretary of the Navy flies at the mast of the U.S. Coast Guard Coastal Patrol Boat Kingfisher (WPB 87322). The Secretary and 4th District Congressman Ander Crenshaw were joiuned by other guests aboard the patrol boat during an inspection of post facilities in the Jacksonville area. Kingfisher is homeported out of Mayport, Fla. Under current law, the Coast Guard is an agency of the Department of Transportation and reports to the Navy during times of war.
