English: PETERSON SPACE FORCE BASE, Colo. – U.S. Space Force Col. Christopher Fernengel, Space Delta 3 - Space Electromagnetic Warfare commander, accepts the award for “Best Missions Delta” from USSF Lt. Gen. Stephen Whiting, Space Operations Command commander, at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado, Dec. 13, 2021. Some of the delta’s accomplishments include creating the first ever exchange officer position for the Royal Air Force, embedding the first remotely piloted aircraft pilot in the delta, and deploying members with the U.S. Marine Corps’ 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit to support USMC operations.
