Awaiting a lift to Swindon works, the last two Class 52s on BR metals, stored in Newton Abbot Motive Power Depot and works yard, "Western Prince" and "Western Lady" still provide an imposing sight from the platforms of the railway station. This view has all but passed into history today, the works and shed buildings having long since been demolished.
