Description
Français : Coupe schématique du "Dôme de Barrot" illustrant les analyses qu'en ont faites - notamment - le géographe Raoul Blanchard (pages 199 et suivantes du Tome V de "Les Alpes occidentales", Paris, 1949) et la géologue Magali Rossi (coupe géologique de sa figure n° 8 des pages 109 à 134 du tome 2010/2011 des "Mémoires" de l'Institut de préhistoire et d'archéologie Alpes Méditerranée, directeur de publication Claude Salicis, Nice, 2011). Mise en forme réalisée le 31/01/2013 par André Payan-Passeron, diplômé d'études supérieures de géographie, à partir des cartes IGN au 1/25.000 et de la carte géologique "Puget-Théniers" au 1/50.000. Structure géologique simplifiée d'EST en Ouest du "Dôme de Barrot" : le socle ancien est recouvert, sur près de 1000 mètres, par une masse de pélites rouges qui ont été dégagées, par les érosions, des couches sédimentaires encore présentes sur les sommets et, surtout, en périphérie.
