Description
English: Krkonoše National Park is both a National Park and an UNESCO Biosphere reserve in the Czech Republic. It is a unique island of sub-arctic tundra in Central Europe, where lowlands and mountains form a very biodiverse environment, with four different altitudinal vegetation belts. The highest mountain of the park is Snow Mountain, which is also the highest in Czechia. One of the Copernicus Sentinel-2 satellites captured this image above Czechia on 20 October 2022.
