Description

A crowd watches the Cuyahoga County centennial parade as it passes through Public Square. Parade watchers are in the northeast quadrant of Public Square and can be seen standing on top of streetcars and on park benches. The buildings around the square are festooned with bunting and banners. Prominent in the background are the Cuyahoga building (left) and adjacent Williamson building (right), both of which were demolished in 1982 to make way for the Sohio (later BP America) building at 200 Public Square. Buildings along Euclid Avenue can be seen to the right of the Williamson building.
