Summary
[edit]| Description |
English: Cut through the hedge. Here the footpath again parts company with the farm track and passes through the hedge with a stile to join the lane on the other side, before continuing past the farm. A look at historic maps explains this odd arrangement. Formerly, there was a farm track to the left, splitting the current field into two, which the footpath followed. Subsequently there has clearly been some rationalisation of the footpath network, see 1745574 and 1745580. |
