Ελληνικά: Το χωριό «Σαγκα», στο βόρειο άκρο της κλεισττής λεκάνη «Αργόν Πεδίον», ή το «Νεστάνη-Σαγκα-πολιε». Το χωριό στηρίζεται σε ένα ριπίδιo κορημάτων, το οποίο συσσωρεύτηκε από προηγούμενες βροχoτπώσιες από τα βουνά. Αυτή η πλαγιά και η γειτονική ιζηματογενής πλαγιά πίσω έίναι καλά καλλιεργημένοι me κήποι και πολλά οπωροφόρα δέντρα. Αυτές οι πλαγιές προφανώς παράγουν αρκετή υγρασία του εδάφους. Αυτό έρχεται σε αντίθεση με τα ξεγυμνώνω βουnά γύρω, όπου μόνο οι εκφυλισμένοι θάμνοι μεγαλώνουν. Ενσωματωμένα στην καλλιεργούμενη περιοχή βρίσκονται τα πυκνά ομαδοποιημένα σπίτια του χωριού. English: Village Saga on a slope at the northern end of the closed karst basin Argon Pedion (Greek for untilled plain). This slope and the neighboring sedimentary slope behind have totally green gardens and many fruit trees, well cultivated by the village. The sediments of the slopes obviously yield enough soil humidity. This clearly contrasts with the denuded mountains around, which are covered by poor dots of degenerated shrubs. Imbedded in it lie the densely grouped houses of the village. The photo shows a panorama from up the mountain ridge of Artemisio, from which the “ladder” - also documented by Pausanias - brings you down to the village. Deutsch: Das Dorf Saga liegt am Nordende der landwirtschaftlich kultivierten Karstebene „Nestani-Saga-Polje“ auf einem sanft ansteigenden Sedimentfächer zwischen den Bergen des Artemisio. An allen Seiten des dicht zusammengedrängten Haufendorfes und auch auf dem Schwemmflächen des nächsten Seitentals haben die Dorfbewohner kleine Felder, Wiesen und viele Bäume angelegt. Diese Schwemmflächen haben offensichtlich genug Bodenfeuchte, denn alles ist grün und gepflegt und unterscheidet sich damit deutlich von den kahlen, nur von dürftigem Macchienbewuchs bedeckten Bergen des Artemisio Vom Kamm des Bergmassives Artemisio auf der „Leiter“ (Griechisch: Κλίμαξ), der wichtigste Weg, der hinunter zum Dorf und in wichtige klassische, arkadische Städte führt, bietet das Foto einen Blick auf Dorf und Umgebung. Die Leiter wurde auch von Pausanias (110-180 AD) in seinem überlieferten Buch „Beschreibung Griechenlands“ dokumentiert. |
