Description

Pollywog members of the crew of this unknown Navy ship are inducted into the mysteries of the deep during this equator crossing ritual by Neptune Rex (He and his Queen are behind the guy with the "?" in the center of the image) and his royal court as the shellbacks watch. photo dates to about 1925, At the bottom looks like a film crew recording the event for a travelogue
