Description
English: Crewmen aboard the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Hancock (CVA-19) handle bombs which they just received during an underway replenishmet with the fast combat support ship USS Sacramento (AOE-1) in the South China Sea, 6 April 1966. In the background is a Douglas A-4C Skyhawk (BuNo 149605) of Attack Squadron 216 (VA-216) "Black Diamonds". VA-216 was assigned to Attack Carrier Air Wing 21 (CVW-21) aboard the Hancock for a deployment to Vietnam from 6 December 1965 to 1 August 1966.
