Summary
[edit]DescriptionCreeting St. Mary churchyard detail - geograph.org.uk - 1108099.jpg |
English: Creeting St. Mary churchyard detail Ransomes in Ipswich made this wonderful decorated roller handle, but it is not at all clear what is automatic about the design, clearly marked 'Automaton'. Nor is it clear what you would do with a roller in this hilly bumpy churchyard.
Ah, I've just realised that the position with handle upwards is not natural - no doubt this is the automated feature. |
