Summary
[edit]DescriptionCreeping - 8105147932.jpg |
English: Stylidium eriopodum
A creeping plant which grows on wiry stilt roots where the plants are held above the ground on very fine roots. The plants can look like pretty mats over the ground. I watched while this bee visited every flower on the head and triggered all of the triggers from underneath its body. It seemed to be collecting nectar in preference to pollen as the pollen missed it. What a wicked little bee. :D |
