English: Approaching former Crakehall station, 1989
View southward towards crossin of ex-North Eastern Railway Wensleydale line, Northallerton to left, Redmire and Hawes right. Closed to normal passenger and freight from 26/4/54, in 1989 the line was still open from Northallerton for quarry traffic to Redmire. The line is currently actively operated by the heritage Wensleydale Railway (q.v.). |
